Hero of the 1833 Cholera plague.

A man who performed so honorably and courageously digging graves for those who died during the cholera plague, when others would no.

James Lane Allen included King Solomon's story in his novel "Flute and Violin", published in 1891. King Solomon's portrait still hangs in the Bullock-Bodley House in Lexington.
