HELD IN SHOOTINGS
J. R. Swarb, 34, Tulsa self-service laundry operator, it shown in police custody today for investigation of a church parking lot shooting that left his former mother - in - law dead and three other persons wounded. The dead woman was Mrs. Viola m. Bridges, 49. Injured are Kenneth Stearns, 33, husband of Swarb's ex-wife; Mrs. Stern, 31, and Mrs. E. Lawton Bragg, wife of the U.S. commissioner in Tulsa. Police said Swarb's brooding over a two - year - old divorce settlement let to the shootings.

FORMER RESIDENT BURIED AT WANETTE
WANETTE - Burial of Mrs Viola Bridges, better known here as Ola Miller, was at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Wanette cemetery.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Tulsa Baptist Temple, Tulsa Weins Hunt funeral home, Tulsa, was in charge of arrangements.
She was born here in July 1910. Mrs. Bridges was killed in a shooting spree outside the Tulsa Baptist Temple.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Earlene Starnes, who was wounded at the time of Mr. Bridges' death; Mrs. Preston Poole, Borger, Texas, step son, Glen Miller, Olton, Texas; brother - in - law, R. D. Morrison, Marlow, and six grandchildren.

Relatives and friends from out of town for the Ola Miller Bridges funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Preston Poole, Borger, Texas; Mr. and Mrs. R. D Morrison, Marlow; Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Morrison and daughters, Marlow; Mr. and Mrs. Glen Miller and family, Olton, Texas; Mrs. Mary Anderson, Shawnee; Mrs. Ida Hanes, Ardmore; Mrs. Eva Tew, Stratford; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Collier, Shawnee. The minister and his wife who serve the Baptist church at Borger came and brought the children of Mr. and Mrs. Poole. Reverend Clark of the Baptist Temple was also present. Mrs. Poole returned to Tulsa to be with her sister, who is still in a critical condition.
