The funeral services of Mrs. Cynthia E. Greene, who was found dead, sitting in a chair in the waiting room of the family doctor, where she had gone to consult about a member of her family, were held yesterday at 1:30 from the Westminster Presbyterian Church at East 17th and Schuyler streets. Mrs. Greene was reared in Syracuse, N.Y. and was the second child in a family of 10 children. She came to Portland in 1882. Having been identified with school work in Syracuse, she became an instructor in the Harrison, now Shattuck, school and served 15 years.

Mrs. Greene was an active member of the West minster Church for 21 years. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. John J. Gibbons of Hood River, and three brothers, Adelbert, Willard and Ford Knoff of New York. Two of her brothers died in a similar manner.
