BARNES, Margarett an Air Force Veteran and faithful member of Chapel 2 WPAFB, of Fairborn, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2012. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, MSgt Dick Barnes; her sons and daughters in law, David and Deborah of Springfield, VA, CMSgt James and Catherine of Smithfield, VA, Dan and Catherine of Fairborn, Richard and Kari of Fairborn. Margarett is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Courtney , Michael, Emily, Zachary, David, Samuel, Sophia, and SrA Matthew Barnes; her siblings, Helen Nichols of Franklin, OH, Suzie Crowley of Huntsville, TN, Rev. Benjamin Crigger of Gassaway, WV; sisters in law, Laura Crigger of Fairborn, Butch Crigger of Erlanger, KY, Eva Crigger of Gassaway, WV, Pat Barnes of Ocoee, FL, Mary Knox of Genoa, NY, Mary Bohmer of Ludlowville, NY, and Mary Barnes of Cortland, NY; numerous nieces and nephews; her wonderful neighbors of 40 years, Bob and Geri Evans; and the thousands of children she lovingly cared for over her many years of child care service. Visitation will be held 4-6pm Monday, October 15, 2012, at Newcomer Funeral Home 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Beavercreek, OH where Memorial Service will be held at 6pm, with her nephew Rev. Terry Crigger officiating.
