She was born on Dec. 19, 1912, in Chicago, to Florio and Felicia Cichocki. She married Gordon Schwemm on May 20, 1939, in Woodstock.
She enjoyed dancing at Harvard Moose Lodge and was known for her talents as a seamstress and cook. She was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran church in Elkhorn.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Kay (Jerry) Hinkelmann of Delavan; a son, Doug (Janie) Schwemm of Eagle Lake, Texas; two grandchildren, Kimberly (Brian) Gerlach-Wheeler of Delavan and Dawn Rose Schwemm of Chicago; a great-granddaughter, Rebecca Wheeler of Delavan; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and a brother.
