Graveside services were held at the Powhattan cemetery, September 8, for Donald F. Allen who died in Lincoln, Nebraska September 4, 1981.
He was the son of Mr. & Mrs. Harve Allen and grew up in Powhattan where he attended school. He later moved to Hiawatha and operated a cafe in the 800 block of Oregon Street. He moved to Topeka, where he also operated a cafe. In more recent years he had lived in Lincoln, Nebraska. Interment was in the Allen family lot in the Powhattan cemetery.
