Pell City —
Agnes Blondene Lewis Alverson, age 95, passed away January 15, 2013 in
Memphis, TN. Although a life long resident of Pell City, Alabama, she
spent her last 13 years in Memphis with her family.
Mrs. Alverson is survived by her daughter-in-law, Gail Rhodes Alverson,
Granddaughters, Mrs. Ronda Alverson Berry (Sean), Mrs. Bretta Alverson
Cochran (Keith) and 6 Great Grandchildren, Luke, Kaitlyn, Gaton Berry
and Ally, Sarah, Emily Cochran and her much loved nieces and nephews.
Her husband, John Henry Alverson and her only child, Jimmie Rondale
Alverson, preceded her in death.
A joint graveside service will be Saturday, April 6, 2013, at 11 o'clock
a.m., in the older section of Valley Hill Cemetery, Cropwell, Alabama
for both Blondene Alverson and Jimmie Alverson.
Rev. Doug Ford and Rev. Keith Cochran will conduct the services.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Hardin's
Chapel Bible Church, Ragland, Alabama. Hardin's Chapel always remained
her church and the people there her very dear friends.
