Dr. Moore was a prominent physician in the Trinidad section of Washington, D.C. for many years. Today his former office is a noted restaurant which uses his name as its own. Back in 2008 this business was the site of a 'throwdown' with Bobby Flay of the Food Network and the program of the same name.

Granville's marker says he was a 'Buffalo Soldier' - considered by many to have been grossly overlooked in the history of the U.S. Though few details exist of his service, feelers are out to many places seeking relevant details.
