Memorial for the victims of the London Tube Fire on November 18, 1987. The tragedy cost the lives of 31 people and led to the modernization of all existing Tube stations. Wooden escalators were replaced with metal ones, and the newest Tube line to date, the Jubilee Line, was built in accordance with the new safety features.
