William Adair Rites Monday
Services for William J. Adair, 52. 610 W. Miami
Ave., will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Fisher
Funeral Home. He died at 8:30 a.m. Friday at
Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
Born in Logansport on Oct. 13, 1928, he was
the son of Cecil and Theresa Yenna Adair Sr.
He was married on Sept. 2, 1950, to Delores
Burns, who survives.
He was employed at Rockwell International.
Also surviving are his mother, of 617
Washington St.; four sons. Ronald, 517 N.
Cicott St.; James, Walton; and Stephen and
Richard, at home; three daughters, Sharon
Smith, 501 Bates St.; Teresa Knight, 615 Bates
St. and Cindy Mackey, 1910 Spear St. ; two
brothers, Lester, 617 Washington St. ; and
Cecil Jr. 1317 Liberty St.; and 13 grandchildren.
Three sisters and one brother preceded him
in death.
The Rev. Milton Beeman will officiate. Burial
will be in Davis Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
