She was buried in Forest Home, Forest Park, west of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. They had about 1929 also son Henry Richard Auwerda, who married to Marian Evenhouse, who had the children Kathryn Lou, Vivian Jean, Paul Richard, and Timothy Vernon Auwerda. Henry Richard Auwerda was in 2013 residing in Frankfort, a southern suburb of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.
