O.V. Bowman, age 94, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2013 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, December 2, 2013 at the Seymour Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Jim Novak of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church officiating. Interment will be in the Seymour Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Bowman was born May 25, 1919 in Seymour, Texas to Joe and Mahalia Bell Bowman. He married Agnes Mary Vincent on October 14, 1944 in Ft. St. John, British Columbia. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Seymour. He was a cowboy and farmer.

He is survived by three daughters, Patsy Daniels and husband, Ed of Lakeside City, Texas, Christy Ward and husband, Zachary of Petrolia, Texas, and Laurie Mitchell and husband, Anthony of Wichita Falls, Texas; a son, Mike Bowman of Seymour, Texas; 11 Grandchildren, Shane and Stephanie Daniels, Cory Lusk, Lance Ward, Kelsey Harding, Brett Lewis,
Bethany and Michael Kuykendall, Kelly and Zoilo McCrocklin, Casey Bowman, Jennifer Bowman, and Casey and Eric Olsen; by fourteen great-grandchildren, Jacob Daniels, Zoe Daniels, Alexa Lusk, Micah Lusk, Kobe Daye, Makynlie Harding, Hadlyn Harding, Case Pirtle, Grayson Kuykendall, Jeremiah McCrocklin, Zoilo McCrocklin, Jr., Christian Kuykendall, Caleb Olsen , Evan Olsen, and by Ellie Kate Kuydendall, scheduled to arrive shortly.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes on March 7, 2005; by two sons, Ronnie Bowman in 1976 and Willard Bowman in 2008; by his parents and siblings.
