Anne worked a variety of jobs including for RCA electronics during the war, Howard Sam's Publishing, at Zionsville Middle School as a cook, and at the Sullivan Museum.
She married Charles Edward Miller on April 4, 1942. She was a lifetime member at Zionsville United Methodist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir. Anne was active in the Psi Iota Xi sorority and served as a president for a term.
Anne was an active member of the community making bandages for Boone County Cancer Society, being awarded the town Crier, receiving the soaring Eagle award in 2011, and thirty years as Mrs. Claus in Christmas in the Village, and as a clown in the Fall Festival parade.
Anne touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity and maintained her trademark sense of humor all the way till the end.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents Ruth and D.K. Mills, her brother, Jack Mills and her daughter Charlotte Miller.
She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Charles Miller and their three children Chuck (Bev), Don (Chris), and Sara Carnicella (Bob). Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
