Florence E. Bonser, 77, of Lehighton, formerly of Palmerton, died December 20 in Hospice House of the V.N.A. of St. Lukes, Lower Saucon Twp. She was the wife of the late Reuben P. Bonser Jr., who passed away in 1985. She worked as a presser first for the former Natalie Fashions, Palmerton, and then for the former Scottys Fashions, Little Gap, for 33 years until retiring in 1991. She was a member of Jerusalem United Church of Christ, Trachsville. Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Alfred J. and Edith F. (Snyder) Bartholomew. Survivors: Sons, Larry L. and his wife Diane of Kunkletown, Douglas D. and his wife Cindy of Palmerton, Ricky R. and his wife Susie of Lehighton; four grandchildren, two stepgreat-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Anna Gower in Arizona, Shirley, wife of Raymond Hawk, and Mrs. Barbra Mackes, all of Palmerton; brothers, Alfred, Marvin, Harold and Donald, all of Palmerton; companion, Edwin Longacre. She was predeceased by sister, Sylvia Rex, an brother, Carl Bartholomew.
