Edthard Lee "Jr." Copple, 63, of Arlington, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus.

He was born Jan. 24, 1950, in Shelbyville, the son of Edthard Lee Copple Sr. and Elaine Darlene (Parrish) Eshelman.

Survivors include his daughter, Lisa (husband, Michael) Polston of Shelbyville; sons, Bret Copple and Josh Copple, both of Kentucky; sister, Mickey (husband, Rodney) Vogel of Brownsburg; brother, Edward (wife, Lisa) Eshelman of Martinsville; and several grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
Jr. was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving from 1968 to 1973, during Vietnam.

He formerly worked as a mold setter at Plastic Molding in Shelbyville for 18 years.

At Ed's request private family services will be observed.

Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, of Shelbyville.
