SPORTS, Boyd Lewis, 67, of Ridge Manor, passed away June 23, 2005, at home. He was born September 13, 1937, in Fayetteville, N.C., to Boyd and Ruby (Culbreth) Sports. He was a retired supervisor for Cargill and an avid hunter, golfer and bowler. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be truly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife, Mary Elizabeth Sports; a daughter, Kimberly Sports Lofley and her husband, who he loved as a son, Gary A. Lofley Jr., and their son, the light of Boyd's life, Chase Hunter Lofley; two brothers, Fred B. Sports and Kenneth L. Sports; a sister, Grace M. Tyner; a cousin, Carolyn Orcutt; and a niece, Debbie Marin. A memorial service was held at 7 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2005, at Hodges Family Funeral Home, 14046 Fifth St., Dade City, Fla.
