Julia was the daughter of Benjamin and Joanna (Leadbetter) Woodman.
On November 14, 1884 Julia married to widower Abial Field Deane of Leeds. The couple lived in Leeds. In the early 1900s, Abial and Julia spent about six weeks during the winter months living at the Leeds "town farm" (aka poor farm). They had no surviving children to help support them.
Julia died on September 6, 1911. Her death record said she was to be buried in North Leeds.
