AUGUST C. ANDERSON
Funeral services were held Friday at the Lund Evangelical Covenant church for August C. Anderson, 95. The Rev. Irving Carlson officiated and burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Anderson died Tuesday, Mar. 29, at the Plum City hospital. Born July 4, 1864 near Gothenburgh, Sweden, he came to the United States with his parents at the age of 10. They settled near Plum City. In 1879, he was confirmed at Sabylund Lutheran church. He attended a Plum City mission chapel.

After working n farms and Mississippi river boats, Mr. Anderson was married in 1903 to the former Mary Hoffman. They became the parents of a daughter, Mrs. George (Esther) Annen. In 1907, Mrs. Anderson died. He remarried in 1913 with Hilda Kelson, who preceded him in death in 1940.

Surviving with Mrs. Annen are two grandchildren and a great grandson. Two sisters preceded Mr. Anderson in death.
