Mrs. Alice Bishop, wife of Leslie G. Bishop, passed away at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Hospital after a two months illness. Age 64 years. Alice Rourke was born July 3, 1894, in Owosso, coming to Saginaw 40 years ago. She was married to Mr. Bishop, July 3, 1912, in Owosso. He survives her. The deceased was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church and its Altar Society. Surviving, besides her husband, are one son, Martin L. Bishop, Berkley; two grandsons, Richard and Ronald Bishop, both of Berkley; also one sister and one brother, Mrs. Agnes Kinsey, Mason, MI; Robert Rourke, Henderson, MI.
Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Andrew Church. Rev. Fr. Robert Shine will officiate. Friends may call at the Reitz Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Thursday, where they will meet with relatives at 8 p.m. Friday to say the Rosary.
