ABBOTT, WENDELL HOLMES, 96, of Clearwater, formerly of St. Petersburg, died Thursday (April 9, 1987). Born in Connecticut, he came to St. Petersburg in 1957 from Cleveland. He was in statistical quality control for a light bulb manufacturer. Survivors include a son, Robert A., Cleveland; a granddaughter, Pamela Dillenbeck, St. Petersburg, and two grandsons, Christopher and John A. Abbott, both of Cleveland. Royal Palm Cemetery, St. Petersburg.
