Betty Lee Stephens, 86, of Lebanon, died Sunday, November 11, 2012 in Lebanon. She was born September 30, 1926, in Laclede County, Missouri to David Uder and Geneva Garrison Uder. On June 30, 1946 she married Marvin Manville Stephens, who preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, James Uder and his wife, Mary, Howard, Kenneth and Wendell Uder; three sisters, Thelma French and her husband, Calvin, Janet Lindsay and her husband, Berlin; an infant sister, Patricia Uder, and a son-in-law, James Greenwood. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Mount Olivet Assembly of God Church, and had been attending Faith Life Church in Branson. Survivors include her children, Carolyn Williams and her husband, Glen, of Lebanon; Jennifer Francis and her husband, Jerry, of Stoutland; Steve Stephens and his wife, Kathy, of Lebanon; Geanine Bloch and her husband, Fred, of Lebanon; Nathan Stephens and his wife, Mileen, of Stoutland; Mark Stephens and his wife, Martha, of Lebanon, and Eric Stephens, of Lebanon; twenty-four grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Betty Uder, Margaret (Uder) Smith, Juanita Uder, Wanda Reading; a brother-in-law, Bob Stephens and his wife, Betty, all of Lebanon; also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Betty Lee Stephens will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Shadel's Colonial Chapel with John Uder officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery at Oakland, under the direction of Shadel's Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. at Shadel's Colonial Chapel. A memorial has been established to Oakland Community Church (formerly Oakland Moravian Methodist Church).
