PROVIDENCE --- Clarence E. Brown, 64, of Harwol Court, a machine operator for Amerbelle Corp., Rockville, Conn. for 15 years, retiring due to disability in 1980, died Thursday at home. He was the husband of the late Mary B. (MacLachlan) Brown.
Born in East Providence, a son of the late Arthur W. and Edna T. (Mott) Brown, he had lived in Providence since 1978.
He was a World War II Navy veteran.
He leaves a son, Joseph E. Brown of Rockville; a brother, Arthur Brown of East Providence; two sisters, Gladys Brown of Providence and Dorothy Ogle of East Providence.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith St. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
