Norman K. Prusik
Norman K. Prusik, age 89, of Shawano, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2006, in Green Bay.
Norman was born on June 17, 1916, in Shawano, son of the late Adolph and Otelia (Tatosky) Prusik. On July 17, 1939, he was united in marriage to Genevieve H. Peebles at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano.
Norman worked as a truck driver for Consolidated Badger and Morning Glory until his retirement. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council 2836. He also painted homes, refinished furniture, enjoyed rummage sales and was an avid Packer fan.
Norman is survived by his wife of 66 years, Genevieve; his two daughters, Judy (Duane) Guetschow of Shawano, Linda (Michael) Theune of Cedar Grove; his son, Kenneth (Agnes) Prusik of Green Bay; five grandchildren, Julie (Mark) Herrmann, Wayne (Stacy) Guetschow, Tim Mortell, Nathan (Rachel) Theune, Jacqueline (Chad) Hoopman; and six great-grandchildren, Aaron, Amanda, Kyle, Elysia, Quinn, Mason and Caroline. He is further survived by a brother, Elmo Prusik of Milwaukee; several sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law; and nieces and nephews. Norman was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Joseph and Bernard; and a sister, Evelyn.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 1, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano with the Rev. Len Evers officiating. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday after 9 a.m. until the time of services. Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano is assisting the family with the arrangements.
