Wendolyn "Lynn" Irene Blumenstetter, 73, of China Spring, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at a local care center. Graveside services will be 10 a.m., Friday, November 1, in China Spring Cemetery, with Rev. Jane Woodward officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, October 31, at Lake Shore Funeral Home, Waco.

Lynn was born in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Wendell F. and Clara Arla (Bearss) Collier. She was a graduate of Chamberland High School. Lynn married Thomas Blumenstetter on September 25, 1959, in Tampa, Florida. They have made their home in China Spring since 1961 and were members of China Spring United Methodist Church. She served as a minister for five years at Mosheim United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Thomas F. Blumenstetter; sons, Robert A. Blumenstetter and Thomas W. Blumenstetter; daughter, Katherine A. Blumenstetter; brothers: Donald Collier, Robert Collier, Bruce Collier; sister, JoAnn Thompson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. V3
