A woman who dedicated her life to the Lord and truly endured to the end, was united with her loving family Sept. 25, 2002. She died peacefully at home surrounded by her most valuable treasures, her family.

Born in Fillmore, Utah March 26, 1911,

to John H. and Hazel Luke Pendleton. Mother married Emerson Adams , our loved father, July 12, 1933 in Parowan, Utah. Mother was always active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many organizations including Relief Society and MIA, but loved her calling as the Gospel Doctrine instructor. She also served a mission in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Mother valued education and taught elementary school for 16 years. She had many students express their love and gratitude to her for her years of devotion to educating her "kids." She is survived by her children, Col, Ralph E. (Jan) Adams and Sharron Lynne Orgill; brother, Freeman L. Pendleton; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at the Hunter East 27th Ward, 4980 West 3285 South. Friends and family may call Friday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday at the church, 9:45-10:45 a.m. Graveside services will follow at 4:30 p.m. in the Parowan City Cemetery.

We love our Mother and Grandmother and will miss her until it is our time to be reunited again.
