Henry DeShon Fargo, who has been a resident of Genesee county all of his life, died at his home on the Evergreen farm on the Ellicott street road, just outside of the village Friday morning; aged 81 years. Mr. Fargo had been ill for some time with diabetes which was the direct cause of his death. He was born in the town of Stafford and spent his boyhood days there. He purchased the farm on which he died in 1865, and has since resided there. He was very successful as a farmer and dairyman, and has been a member of the Stafford Grange for many years. Mr. Fargo was the oldest member of the First Baptist, church in Batavia, in point of years, joining nearly seventy years ago. He is survived, by his wife and two sons, Warren Fargo and Fred H. Fargo, one brother, J.E. Fargo. The burial will take place in the Elmwood cemetery
