Franklin, Nov 28
Funeral services were held at 1 o'clock this afternoon for Mrs. Samuel J. Coast of 91 Rocky Grove Ave, who lost her life in the automoblie accident on the Pittsburgh Road, near Cathers Hill on Tuesday. Rev. H.F. Coleman was in charge. A quartet composed of Miss Earla Osborne, Mrs. Leonard Flickner, C.E. Wortman and C.L. Hart sang the selection "In the Upper Garden" and "Some Day We'll Understand". The floral tributes were many and beautiful.
The services were private, but the home was filled with many sorrowing friends, while many others called there following the fatal accident to express their sympathies to the family. On Wednesday evening, a burial service was held by the Good Samaratan class of the Grace Evangelical Sunday school of which Mrs. Coast had been a member.
Burial was made in the Franklin cemetery. The pallbearers, all nephews, were: Samuel Coast, Floyd McFadden, Roy, Melvin and Edward Kightlinger and Charles Atwell.
