Life of Another Good Citizen Ended: The spirit of Mr. John Correll took it's flight for the blissful abode on high at 10:45 o'clock last evening, March 3.

John Correll was born at Wicklow, Ireland, August 27, 1837. In 1861 he went to Australia remaining there four years. From there he returned to England and in 1868 came to the United States. His first location in this country was on a farm near Clifton in Grant county this state. In 1882 he bought a farm near Cobb this county and settled thereon. At farming and raising high grade stock his success was of the splendid order.
In 1898 Mr. Correll located to Mineral Point and lived in retirement therein. His citizenship has been of the highest rank for integrity and moral worth, and he goes to that home from whence none ever returns, beloved and respected by old and young.
In 1869, Mr. Correll was married to Isabella Greville of Clifton who survives him together with three sons - Washington, a druggist at Spring Green, Richard who resides on the home farm and William H. clothing merchant of this city.
Funeral Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.
