CURWENSVILLE - Funeral services were held this morning at 11 a.m. from the Russell H. Lininger Funeral Home in Curwensville for Mrs. Lyda Emma Bloom. Interment was made in Oak Hill Cemetery. The Rev. William H. Olson officiated.
Mrs. Bloom, 78, Curwensville, died Friday evening at the home of Mrs. Mary Bretzin in Curwensville.
Born in Pike Township Feb.2, 1894, she was a daughter of Clark B. and Sara E. (Wall) Norris.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ruth M. Rapp, Dixon, Ill.; two grandsons, and two great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ethel Borger, New York; and a brother, John Norris, Williamsport.
Mrs. Bloom was preceded in death by her husband, Willard, in July 1971, her parents, five brothers and three sisters.
She was a member of the Susquehanna Grange.
