The Rev. Stone, pastor of the First Baptist Church in McKinney, officiated at the chapel rites and at the graveside services following in the McKinney cemetery. Nephews of the deceased served as pallbearers.
Miss Talkington, who had been in failing health for several years, died in a Dallas hospital Sunday. She was a lifelong resident of McKinney.
Survivors, beside Mrs. Malone and Mrs Perkins, include four other sisters, Mrs. Lucille Paysinger of McKinney, Mrs. Smith Stagner of Salina, Mrs. W. D. Smith of Dallas and Mrs. Roy Strickland of Denver, Colorado; and a number of nieces and nephews. Mr. and Mrs. Perkins attended the funeral.
