John Donald "Donnie" Stroman, 61, of Bowman, died Thursday, Oct. 31, 2002.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, at Bowman Southern Methodist Church, with the Rev. Bill Keaton and the Rev. Bill Davidson officiating. Burial will be in Bowman Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Mac Bair, David Funchess, Kenneth Ott, Roger Smith, Zack Parler, Harvey Rast, Perry A. Smith, and Dan Daniels.
Mr. Stroman was born in Orangeburg, a son of the late George E. Stroman Sr. and Janelle Inabinet Stroman. He was a self employed business man. He was a member of Bowman Southern Methodist Church and served on the Board of Stewards and taught Sunday School. He was a Mason and a member of Bowman Lodge. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Misty Lynn Stroman.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Bozard Stroman of the home; a son, Jason D. Stroman, University of South Carolina, Columbia; three brothers, George Evan Stroman and Richard L. "Ricky" Stroman, both of Orangeburg, and George Ronald "Ronnie" Stroman of Columbia.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, at Dukes-Harley Funeral Home, 3379 Columbia Road, Orangeburg.
Memorials may be made to Bowman Southern Methodist Church.
