Funeral services for Miss Florence Barden, 91, San Francisco, a former Wausau resident, who died Monday, will be held Friday at 9:30 am at Peterson Funeral Home, Wausau, and at St. James Catholic Church, Wausau. The Rev. William Nikoli will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call after 4 pm at the funeral home where a parish rosary will be said Thursday at 7:30 pm.
Miss Barden was born July 4, 1879 in the Town of Easton, the daughter of Mr and Mrs James Barden. She never married. She taught in the Wausau school system and was later employed in various U.S. cities.
Survivors include nephews and nieces.
