Pearl Rosella Holmes
Our beloved Mother, Sister, and Grandmother Rosella Holmes passed away peacefully, June 13, 1999.
She was born in Centerfield, Utah on July 8, 1910 to Andrew and Josephine Anderson. She was the second of five daughters and one brother. Her father passed away in 1925. She married William LeRoy Holmes in a double ceremony with her mother and her husbands father and was married 53 years.
She worked in the Salt Lake Temple as a supervisor of the cafeteria for ten years prior to retirement. She held several positions in the church including Relief Society President 25th Ward and Stake Relief Society President Pioneer Stake.
She is survived by five children, Beverly Lemperle (Alvin), Donna Seifert (Paul), Bill Holmes (Claudia), Robert Holmes, Sr. (Sharon), and Jerry Holmes (Judy); two sisters, Elna Baumgartner, and Velda Hoskins; 28 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her mother, father, husband, daughter, Jean Buhl; brother, Ervin Anderson; sisters, Elvina Anderson, Ardella Green; granddaughter, Suzanne and great-grandson, Caleb Lemperle.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 17, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. at the 25th Ward, 1145 West 6th South. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday at the church one hour prior to services. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 So. 17th East.
The family would like to thank the workers at the Heritage Bennion Care Center for the love and care they showed to our Mother.
