He was the son of Robert Jennings and Mary Elizabeth Hurst. After his daddy died, his mother married Jefferson Baker. Grover Cleveland Jennings was the grandson of Henry Jennings and Martha Jennings (both were Jennings),Martha was the daughter of Royal Jennings and Catherine Daniels.
