Services for Esley W. Auttonberry, Sr. age 82, of West Monroe will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, December 15, 2003 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Mark Foster and Rev. Fred Foster officiating. Interment will follow in the Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson.
Mr. Auttonberry was born in Caldwell Parish on July 3, l921 to the union of Eugene and Mary Fore Auttonberry and died Saturday, December 13, 2003 at the Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe.
He was a retired truck driver and shipping clerk with Bancroft Paper Company in West Monroe. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
He was preceded in death by her parents, his wife, Bertie Legg Auttonberry, his brothers, Curtis Auttonberry and Calvin Auttonberry and his sisters, Sudie Bratton and Ludie Cooper.
Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law: Esley "Bo" and Jackie Auttonberry of West Monroe and Mikel W. and Naomi Auttonberry of Eros, his daughters, Delores Rabb, Becky Auttonberry and Debbie Malone and her husband, Jim all of West Monroe, his brother, Robert Auttonberry of Clarks, thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Matt Malone, Donald Cooper, Terry Bratton, Chuck Hunter, Toby Auttonberry and Mikel Auttonberry, II.
Visitation will be Sunday from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. until time of services at Riser Funeal Home, 7131 Hwy. 165, Columbia.
