He is best remembered for films such as "La Hermana San Sulpicio" (1934), "Eloísa Está Debajo de un Almendro" (1943), "El Clavo" (1944), "Cinco Lobitos" (1945), "Allá en el Rancho Grande" (1948), "Marcelino, Pan y Vino" (1954), "Historias de la Radio" (19549, "Calabuch" (1956), "Mi Tio Jacinto" (1956), "Los Jueves, Milagro" (1957) and "Sólo Para Hombres" (1960).
