Lloyd E. Bybee, 87, a native of Biola, Calif., died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2005, at Bayside Convalescent Hospital in Morro Bay.
Viewing will be held from 11a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by internment, Saturday Oct. 1 at Los Osos Valley Mortuary and Memorial Park.
A graveside service will follow at 1 p.m., and a 2 p.m. memorial service will take place at Estero Bay Methodist Church on Sequoia and Hemlock in Morro Bay.
Lloyd was born in Fresno, Calif., Jan. 27, 1918. He grew up in Fresno County where he attended Central High School and later graduated with a degree in business administration from Fresno State.
Lloyd worked for the Fresno Irrigation District for 34 years. He also farmed grapes with his wife of 57 years, Wanda.
After their retirement in 1981, Lloyd and Wanda moved to Cayucos where they enjoyed golfing, square dancing and traveling around the country in their motor home.
Lloyd was an avid San Francisco Giants and 49ers fan and attended games whenever possible.
His survivors include his wife, Wanda of Cayucos; sons, Dan and his wife Anne of Roseville, Tim and his wife Kay of Burrel; granddaughters, Mary Ann of Kingsburg, Rachel Henderson and her husband Kevin of Phoenix; and great-grandsons, Kevin and Dillon.
Remembrances may be sent to the Estero Bay Methodist Church of Morro Bay.
