BONNIE LYNN AWVE, 65, peacefully passed away Thursday June 13, 2013 after a brief illness in Las Cruces.

No local services will take place. Cremation will be by Baca's Mimbres Crematory.

Bonnie was born in New London, Wisconsin on August 16, 1947. She married Lawrence Awve on July 9, 1966. Bonnie was an avid bowler and loved to play Yahtzee with her best friend Donna Clary. In her retirement years Larry and her traveled the states, then decided to make Deming their new home. She and Larry made great friends and Bonnie had time to pursue her passion of crafting and teaching crafts.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Awve; 2 daughters, Jodi (Mark) Weyland, Barbara Awve and special friend, Troy; 3 grandchildren, Brooklynn and Daytona Weyland, Alexander Perket; a brother, Thomas Fuerst; nieces, Hope (Phillip) Oliva, Tracy Mack; nephews, Howard (Jamie) Fuerst, Greg (Lesley) Fuerst; sister and brother in-law, Hazel & Bob Schulz and numerous great nieces and nephews. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, Alma & Ervin Fuerst; mother and father-in-law, Myrtle and Clifford Awve; brother, Harlan Fuerst; sister-in-law, Lois Fuerst, niece, Kara Johnson and her best friend Donna Clary.
