Steuben, June 30. — Miss Lizzie Eychner, 76, died yesterday at the home of her niece, Mrs. Roy Fuller, Steuben, after a 13 day illness. She had resided with her niece for the past eight years, and was a former district school teacher.
She was born in Steuben March 23, 1866, daughter of the late Sylvester and Elizabeth Casler Eychner. She attended Carmichael Hill Methodist Church, and was a member of its Ladies' Aid Society.
She was the last of her family.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews: Mrs. Fuller, at whose home she resided; Welcome Smith, Sauquoit; the Misses Alma and Edna Smith, Oriskany; and Mrs. Howard Harmon, Town of Verona.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p. m. at the Griffin and Aldridge Funeral Home, Rome, with burial in Carmichael Hill Cemetery. Rome Daily Sentinel, Tuesday Evening, June 30, 1942
