***Three of Margaret's brothers (and one uncle) fought in the Civil War for the Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, 105th Regiment, Company C out of New Bethlehem, Clarion County, PA. Through obtaining their pension files, I learned that the Bookwalter family had some sort of discrepancy about their surname. Out of the 10 children that Joshua & Cathrin had, four went by BOOKWALTER, one went by BERKWATER, Margaret thought her surname was BERK... I haven't tracked down the other four children as of yet.
