Found in The State 01 February 1958: John B. Taylor, 79, of 621 Kentucky Street, died at 8 o'clock last night at his residence after an extended illness. He was born in Florence County, the son of the late George and Seania Taylor. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Daisy Browder Taylor of Columbia; two sons, the Rev. J. Ed Taylor of the Baptist Home Missions Board, Atlanta, Ga., and Jack N. Taylor of Columbia. Three grandsons; three granddaughters; six great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Garrett of Columbia, Mrs. Belle Hayes of Pamplico and Mrs. Sarah Etheridge of Andrews; and one brother, W. H. Taylor of Columbia.
