Carol L. (Clarke) Trudeau, age 68, of Wagher Road in the Wilsonville section of Thompson, passed away on October 3, 2013.

The daughter of the late Raymond Clarke and Lillian Pearl (Blackden) Cropper, she was born in South Kingstown RI.

She leaves her loving husband of 52 years, Adrien R. (Dick) Trudeau of Thompson.

The beloved mother of three devoted children, she leaves a son, Adrien R. Trudeau, Jr. of Onset, MA and two daughters, Jacqueline Renee (Trudeau) Rivera of Middleboro, MA and Marilyn Faith Trudeau of Plymouth, MA. She also leaves her dear son-in-law Nelson Rivera who she called her special son.

She also leaves her much loved grandchildren, Michael A. Trudeau and his wife, Shelley, of Belmont, MA; Katherine E. Trudeau and Sarah R. Trudeau both of Plymouth, MA and Bianca M. Rivera of Carver, MA. In addition she leaves an adored great grandchild, Brandon M. Trudeau of Belmont, MA

She also leaves one sibling, her brother, Gary R. Clarke, Sr. of Warwick, RI and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two siblings; her sister Marilyn (Clarke) Smith and her brother F. Alan Clarke, and a dear sister-in-law, Lynda Clarke.

Carol was a truly loving and kind hearted soul who made friends wherever she went. People were routinely drawn to her generous and compassionate nature, whether to stop and tell Carol their stories or just to tell her what a beautiful smile she had.

She was well known by family and friends as having an active, and quite long, prayer list. Once a person was put "on the list" they never came off. Loved ones and strangers alike benefited from their place on Carol's prayer list. She always said it didn't matter if she remembered a person's name, because God knew who she was praying for.

Carol's gifts to the world are her devoted children, loving grandchildren and her cherished great-grandson.
