RITE SATURDAY FOR MRS. KNUTZ

(Huron Daily Plainsman - d. May 2, 1972)

Mrs. William Knutz, 818 Iowa Ave. S. E., Huron, died Tuesday night in St. John Regional Medical Center.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Welter Funeral Home with the Rev. John Oliver officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday and Friday afternoon and evening.

Elvirta May Graves was born Sept. 20, 1890, the daughter of Thomas and Nettie Graves at Peoria, Ill. She moved to the Esmond community with her family. She married William F. Knutz March 30, 1910.

Survivors include five children, William F., Jr., Huron; Howard V., Dayton, Ore.; Richard, McMinnville, Ore.; Mrs. Ray (Mabel) Seigenthaler, Huron; Mrs. Duane (Dorothy) Schlomer, Phoenix, Ariz. 20 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Hittle, Oakland, Calif.; Lulu Graves, Huron.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two children who died in infancy, one brother, Delbert in World War II, parents and one great-grandchild.

She was a member of Church of Christ.
