Funeral services were December 27, 2004, at the Tankersley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jessie Morton officiating.
Burial will follow in the Seymour Masonic Cemetery, in Seymour, Texas.
Mrs. Hayden was born March 15, 1913, in Seymour, to Walter and Estella Black.
She married Buford Paul Hayden on October 27, 1932, in Frederick, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on January 3, 2000.
She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She moved to Stamford in 1993, from Snyder, Texas.
She is survived by 2 special friends - Betty Sue Cooper and Patsy Myers, both of Stamford, 2 special Angels - Katelyn Collins of Fort Campbell, Kentucky and Randa Johnson of Stamford; 5 nephews - Donald Black of Oklahoma, Richard Fraser of Arlington, Bill Fraser of Palestine, Bill Hayden and Glenn Hayden, both of Austin; 4 nieces - Anita Wright and Margie Cearley both of Hamlin, Helen Jones of Houston, and Mary Benham of Spring Branch, Texas.
