John Golembefski, 79, who died Monday morning, will be buried in Sauk Rapids cemetery on Thursday afternoon. The funeral service will be held at the residence at 1:30 oclock and at Trinity Lutheran church at 2 oclock with Rev. William Petzke officiating. Pallbearers will be Leonard Lanz, Martin Senczek, Alfred and Ben Gratzek, Alphonse and John Leyk.
Mr. Golembefski was born in Germany. He came to America 50 years ago, living for a number of years in St. Paul. Thirty-seven years ago he came to Benton county and farmed in Popple Creek until he retired and moved into Sauk Rapids in 1929.
Mrs. Golembefski survives with 10 children: Mrs. Roy Walker, St. Cloud; Mrs. Fred Leyk, Mayhew Lake; Mrs. Fred Gratzke, Sauk Rapids; Fred, John and Emil Golembefski of Mayhew Lake; Mrs. John Lepinski and Mrs Martha Senczek, Sauk Rapids; Mrs. Harold DeLong, Gilman; Mrs. W. A. Baron, Sauk Rapids. There are 36 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
