Ralph T. Copper, age 91, of Laurel, Delaware passed away on September 30, 2012 at Milford Memorial Hospital.

Ralph was born in Baltimore, a son of the late Harry and Edna Mae Copper.

He proudly served his country in the United States Marines during WWII, honored with the Purple Heart Medal from wounds received in the battle for Iwo Jima.

He then retired from the Baltimore City Police force after 36 years of service as a Lieutenant.

He was a lifetime member of John HB Latrobe Lodge, were he was past master in 1973, served 20 years as secretary and was worthy grand patron in 1992. A member of the Order of the Eastern Star severing three years as grand trustee. He was also a member of Centenary United Methodist Church until his illness.

Mr. Copper is survived by his daughters, Diana Follin, Barbara Baker and Linda Thompson. Several grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive him.

He is preceded in death by his siblings, Myrtle McCollgh, Harry Copper, Lawrence Copper and Charles Copper.

His wife's also preceded him in death, Ellen Runkles Copper and Gloria Ryan Copper.
