Veronica B. Aiken, 93, of Covenant Manor, 23 W. Third Street, died at 3:20 p.m. Thursday in her home.
She was the widow of Willis M. Aiken who died Dec. 14, 1967. She was born May 9, 1899 in Erie, Pa., the daughter of Frederic and Margaret Langan Hirsch.
Mrs. Aiken was a 1918 graduate of Erie Central High School and a 1920 graduate of the Erie Normal School. she was a teacher in the Erie School System for many years.
A communicant of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and a member of the Marvin House and the WCA Auxiliary.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Richard Balko of Erie and several nieces and nephews.
