Megan Gibson, 20, of Paducah, Ky., formerly of Brookport, Ill., passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012, at Lourdes hospital in Paducah.

Megan loved serving the Lord with her ministry, Amightywind and being with her family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at the Aikins-Farmer Brookport Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at the Mt. Sterling Cemetery in Brookport, Ill..

Megan is survived by her mother, Tonia of Brookport; her father, Arthur and wife Leah of Metropolis; her grandmothers, Josie of Brookport, and Clardy and Barbara, both of Metropolis; her grandfathers, Raymond of Simpson, Ill., Arthur, Jr. and wife Brenda of Vermont, and Charles of Mobile, Ala.; her boyfriend Chris Hornback of Paducah, Ky.; five brothers, Tyler Wedeking, Ethan Cook, Grant Kenney, Levi Kenney, and Jesse Kenney; one sister, Ashlyn Kenney; and two uncles, Michael Gibson and Victor Bennett.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Clyde Bennett; two great-grandmothers, Pearl Butler and Helen Warren; and two uncles, Charles Gibson and Randy Kerley.

Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 5, at the Brookport Funeral Chapel.

Pallbearers: Chris Hornback, Quaid Adams, Landon Hughes, Mike Harris, Allen Lewis and Ethan Cook.
