Louis E. Fisher, 89, of Evansville, IN, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2013. He was born December 25, 1923, in Evansville. He and his wife Margie were married for 67 years.

He was a member of St. Lucas United Church of Christ. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired from Arkla Corporation where he worked his entire career. Louis belonged to the Hadi Shrine and was a member of the Masons for over 50 years. He was a member of the American Legion. He loved playing golf.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Augusta Pauli Fisher; sister, Carolyn Cross; and brothers, Leroy and Forest Fisher. He is survived by three daughters: Christine Zimmerman (Ronald), Linda Rader, and Barbara Cruise (Timothy); four grandchildren: Jason Zimmerman (Kyrsten), Amy Cerajewski, Brian Cruise, and Kevin Cruise; and 5 great-grandchildren: Steven Cerajewski, Hannah Cerajewski, Jack Cerajewski, Aaron Zimmerman, and Madeline Zimmerman. He s also survived by two sisters: Betty Schoenbachler and Gail Matthews.
