She was born in Putnam, Conn. March 10, 1952, one of eight children born to Allen and Caroline (Lamphere) Charette. On June 28, 1969 she and Stephen Bean were married.
Cathy was an active 31-year member and past president of the ladies auxiliary of the American Legion Unit #58. She was employed for 20 years at Quest Transportation having previously worked at Maple Grove, Hovey's and Zayres.
She was predeceased by her father Allen Charette in Mohave Valley, Ariz., and by her father-in-law Robert Bean of Peacham.
Graveside services will be held June 16, Saturday, at 10 a.m. at the Peacham Cemetery. Mr. John Sleeper will officiate. A reception will follow in St. Johnsbury at the American Legion on Maple Street.
